How to Unlock The NEW Metal Detector & Where to Find Buried Stashes (Locations with Map) in GTA 5 Online

This video will show you all possible spawn locations with map for the new Metal Detector in GTA 5 Online. You just have to find the metal detector once and you will unlock it and you can use it in Cayo Perico to find the Hidden Buries Stashes which we'll provide the map and locations down below.

You will see a blue dot on your minimap if the metal detector spawns if you get closer to the area.

Here are all 10 possible spawn locations of the Metal Detector, a lot of reports people finding it in full public lobby, although it may be possible to find it in private lobby with lower chance rate. Once you've found the location, more than one people can grab the quest item at one time which is pretty convenient and you can do it in a group.

You can find and pick up the Metal Detector lying next to the skeleton to unlock it, you just have to find it once.

Buried Stashes Spawn Locations Map at Cayo Perico in GTA 5 Online

Once you've unlocked the MetaL Detector, you want to call your Submarine the Kosatka and start Cayo Perico Gather Intel mission. If you already have a heist ready, you can redo the gather intel mission as you can continue to do the main heist later.

The Metal Detector will automatically appear if you enter the Buried Stashes area on the map, follow the signal and sound until the treasure icon appear on your minimap to interact and collect the buried tresure. One stash will give you $15,000 in the game.
